first floor, local fetish ( BW, digital photograph 2015): My son was born on the floor of a small cabin we had rented. When moving out of the place in 2014 which was to be revamped, I decided to cut out and replace the area of the wooden flooring that was still stained with the blood of his birth.My son now owns his own birthplace, which he is able to carry around, raising questions in the context of global citizenship, the locality and mobility of identity in contrast to racism and history of the far rights obsession with blood and soil, still reflected in citizenship aquisition laws based within the constraints of ius sanguinis or ius soli.
